AWeigh With Us by Capital Vehicle Weighing is hitting the road – and we’re bringing our trusted mobile weighing services with us! As we tour NSW, SA, WA in our own caravan, we’re continuing to do what we do best: helping fellow travellers stay safe, legal, and confident while towing.
Whether you're new to caravanning or a seasoned explorer, knowing your weights is critical. We're now offering on-the-road caravan and vehicle weighing services as we travel, making it easier than ever to get checked while you're already out enjoying the open road.
Where You’ll Find Us
We’re travelling NSW, SA, NT and WA from May 2025 and updating our locations regularly via [Instagram/Facebook – @aweighwithus] and our website. We are scheduled to be in Broome, WA at the end of June and back in Canberra early September. If we’re in your area and you’d like a check, just reach out – we’d love to meet you on the road.

We know every traveller is different, so we’re offering two convenient weighing options to suit your needs:
1. Detailed Weight Check & Safety Assessment
This is our comprehensive weighing service, ideal if:
- You’re unsure of your towing setup.
- You haven’t weighed your caravan or vehicle before.
- You want a full understanding of how your setup performs against legal and safety limits.
Includes:
- Full weighing of your tow vehicle and caravan (ATM, GVM, GCM, tow ball mass and more).
- Detailed visual explanation of your results.
- A personalised weight compliance report.
- A towing safety check – including correct tow height, chain and cable setup, and hitching advice.
- Tips and guidance tailored to your setup for safe, compliant towing.
2. Express Weight Safety Check
Perfect for travellers who:
- Have been weighed before and just want peace of mind.
- Are travelling and need a quick weight check to confirm they're still within limits.
- Want a simple, fast service while on the move.
Includes:
- Weighing of your tow vehicle and caravan (ATM, GVM, GCM, tow ball mass).
- Report of weights and compliance.
- Summary explanation of your results.
WE ARE Heading north for our winter break
We are heading AWeigh for a trip in our van and experiencing our outback like many of our customers. We are taking bookings in Canberra and South Coast NSW after winter. We are providing services on the road to help keep people safe and weight aware - send us a message to catch up with us.
