About Us
Capital Vehicle Weighing is a family owned and operated company committed to providing valued services to customers. We are Canberra's only full time, dedicated vehicle weighing service. Our equipment is designed and built in Australia specifically for accurate vehicle and caravan weighing .
Our scales are calibrated following the National Instrument Test Procedures (NITP) and certified to National Standards.
Our Team
Brett and Rowena Hand are experienced business owners operating various industry related business in Canberra over the past 25 years.
Avid caravaners themselves, their practical experience enhances the delivery of weighing services and customer experiences. They are passionate about customer service and assisting customers to be informed on safety and compliance - particularly explaining weight compliance terms and advice for customers setting up or purchasing new vehicles and caravans.
Brett began driving heavy vehicles when he was fresh out of high school and Rowena has a background in compliance auditing, they are both certified in professional trailer maneuvering .
Weighing more than 500 caravan and vehicle combinations gives this husband and wife team the ability to work with customers to resolve issues and provide relevant advice including loading correctly and managing weight while travelling.
